Yemen Chameleon

The Yemen Chameleon (Chamaeleo calyptratus), also known as the Veiled Chameleon, is a colorful arboreal species native to Yemen and Saudi Arabia. Known for its casque (helmet-like crest) and vibrant colors, it is one of the most popular chameleons in the hobby.

- Habitat: Tall mesh enclosure with climbing plants, UVB lighting, and misting for hydration
- Adult Size: Males 40–60 cm, females 25–35 cm
- Temperament: Can be defensive, best enjoyed as a display species
