1. Shipping Policy

Live Animals (Other Than Fish)

  • We do not ship live reptiles, birds, or mammals under any circumstances.

  • These animals must be collected in-store at our Moneygurney Yard, Maryborough Hill location, or delivered by our licensed animal transport partners by prior arrangement.

  • Proof of suitable habitat and care knowledge may be required before finalising the sale.

Live Fish

  • We can ship live fish throughout Ireland using approved, welfare-friendly packaging and courier services.

  • Fish are only shipped Monday–Wednesday to avoid weekend delays.

  • Customers must be available to receive delivery on the agreed date and time.

  • In rare cases of transit issues, please contact us immediately upon delivery with clear photographs.

Pet Supplies & Dry Goods

  • Orders are processed within 1–3 business days.

  • Standard delivery within Ireland is typically 2–5 working days.

  • Free local pickup is available at our shop.

2. Returns & Refunds Policy

Live Animals & Fish

  • All sales of live animals and fish are final.

  • Animals and fish leave our care in good health, verified by our staff. We cannot be responsible for conditions that arise after they leave our premises.

  • For shipped fish, we offer a Live Arrival Guarantee if delivery instructions are followed and proof is provided within 2 hours of receipt.

Pet Supplies

  • Returns are accepted for unused, unopened items within 14 days of purchase with proof of receipt.

  • Items must be returned in original packaging and condition.

  • Faulty or damaged items will be replaced or refunded in line with Irish consumer rights law.

3. Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.

  • Information collected (name, contact details, payment info) is used only to process your order or booking.

  • We do not sell or share personal data with third parties, except where required for delivery or legal compliance.

  • Payment details are processed securely via Shopify’s encrypted payment system.

You can request a copy of, or deletion of, your personal data at any time by contacting us.

  2. Comply with all Irish laws regarding animal ownership, including any necessary licences for exotic species.

  3. Ensure you have suitable housing, diet, and care knowledge before purchasing any animal.

  4. Not use any animals purchased for illegal or unethical purposes.

5. Exotic Animal Policy

We are committed to ethical sourcing and the welfare of all animals.

  • All animals are obtained from reputable, legal breeders or rescues.

  • We comply fully with CITES regulations and Irish Wildlife laws.

  • Some species require a licence from the National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS). Proof of licence will be requested before the sale.

  • We reserve the right to refuse a sale if we believe an animal’s welfare may be at risk.
