The Chinese Fire Belly Newt (Cynops orientalis) is a hardy and colourful amphibian, recognized for its bright orange belly contrasted with a dark body. A great choice for semi-aquatic setups.

- Habitat: Semi-aquatic enclosure with shallow water, land areas, and hiding spots
- Adult Size: 7–10 cm
- Temperament: Generally docile and easy to care for, best as a display animal
